Models strutting down the runways,
With a 20" waistline,
I'm sure a skeleton is real appealing,
But if I'm not the same I'm nothing.

Women in their groups,
All straight hair and fancy clothes,
Will I be worth their time?
Or should I just bleed away to nothing?

No one seems to notice,
At least not those I want to.

Would I have the guts,
To leave a relationship,
Where all my gifts are bruises?
He says I'm all he has,
'Cause no one else would want me.
Every magazine seems to agree,
I don't look like them so it must be true.
i'm not sure if this is too brutal or not, but brutal seems to be the only thing that gets through to people.

The first stanza tells of where it begins, in what young women see plastered everywhere. on t.v and magazines.

The second is something typical that happens to nearly everyone, where very prissy girls decide to ignore you, and if u take it too literally, some resort to drastic things.

The third is one of the worst results. if you feel so low about yourself you'll attract unhealthy relationships, and if they make u feel even worse about yourself you'll never leave.
